Louth Playgoers is expanding its 2026/27 season with the re-introduction of an April production slot. For this slot, we are launching a New Writing Scheme to support emerging playwrights by offering the opportunity to have a newly written play fully produced on our stage.

This initiative aims to encourage fresh theatrical voices, diversify our programme, and give writers the valuable experience of seeing their work realised in front of a live audience.

We are seeking original scripts from writers who wish to have a new play produced as part of the Louth Playgoers season.
