Synopsis: Rachel Watson is disappointed with the way her life has become and so escapes by watching the perfect couple as she travels on the train every day. When Rachel learns that the woman has gone missing she finds herself as both witness and suspect. Dark secrets unfold bringing Rachel into dangerous situations which are only compounded by her depression and alcohol abuse.

Characters:

Rachel Watson is a divorced, alcoholic who struggles with blackouts and memory loss. She is the ex wife of Tom and she obsessed with observing him and his new wife and baby along with their near neighbours Megan and Scott.

Rachel is the main character who is on stage for the whole play. She is required to kiss Scott and Tom.

Megan Hipwell is artistic and troubled by a dark secret. She is married to Scott and has been seeing a therapist Kamal Abdic before she disappears.

Megan is required to kiss Scott and Kamal as well as talk about child loss.

Anna Watson is married to Tom with a new baby. She struggles with anxiety and resentment towards Rachel.

Tom Watson is a manipulative, emotionally abusive and violent. He presents himself as a loving husband to Anna but he is deceitful and ultimately dangerous.

Tom is is required to kiss Rachel.

Scott Hipwell is married to Megan. His behaviour contributes to the tension surrounding Megan's disappearance.

Scott is required to kiss Megan and Rachel.

Kamal Abdic is a therapist who was treating Megan and subsequently briefly treats Rachel. He is well intentioned but he too becomes a suspect in Megan's disappearance.

Kamal is required to kiss Megan.

DI Gaskill is the detective investigating Megan's disappearance. He is experienced and authoritative but sometimes he can lose his temper with Rachel's half-truths.

All ages welcome to audition.
Please note, however, that the ages of those successfully cast will need to balance according to the storyline.
