IMPORTANT  INFORMATION

- Adult ensemble auditionees that wish to be considered for minor roles that include solo singing will need to sing solo at the audition. Adult ensemble auditionees that do not wish to be considered for solo singing will be able to sing in a group.

- We are not intending to double cast any role (outside of possibly one or two of the principal child roles). However, the creative team reserve the right to double cast should they feel it necessary.

- In terms of the number of children required, we are looking to cast 16 children to portray the St Bernadette's children and 12 teenagers to portray the Oakmoor students (this is subject to change at the discretion of the creative team).

- We understand that due to the dates of audition there may be some auditionees who cannot make these due to holidays. We there will accept video auditions to be submitted but we must stress that it is preferred by the creative team to see auditionees on the audition day, particularly for the children due to the workshop nature of their auditions.

- Any video submissions must be sent to jamieharris807@googlemail.com and be received by no later than 5pm on Friday 24th July 2026. Any video submissions received after this time/date will not be considered. The video audition must contain the libretto/song for the roles you are going for. If multiple characters appear in the libretto you will need to find someone to read in for you.

- Rehearsals will be Mondays/Wednesdays from 10th August 2026. Not everyone will be called to each rehearsal and a detailed schedule will be provided to all auditionees. COMPULSORY REHEARSALS - Sunday 27th September 2026 and all rehearsals for the 2 weeks prior to the show.

- This is a complex show both in terms of material and also staging. Please check availability for rehearsals before committing to auditions.

- The audition panel will consist of 5 people including the director, musical director, assistant director, this season's LPS President and 1 other person TBC. The decision of the panel is final.

- Feedback after audition/casting can be given upon request.

We look forward to seeing you at auditions. This really is a fantastic show that will really get everyone into  the Christmas spirit!
