ROBIN SMITH

Robin was born in Louth and now lives in Grimoldby. After a five-year apprenticeship as a draughtsman at Rolls Royce and seven years in the Royal Navy, he joined the Derbyshire Fire Service. His passion and knowledge of aviation and engineering subjects led to him discovering painting in 1979…and he’s never looked back.

His precise and beautifully observed aviation compositions have led to prestigious commissions from all parts of the world. He also creates exceptional still-life and landscape paintings.
