BOB ARMSTRONG
The featured artist for April is BOB ARMSTRONG and his exhibition THE JOURNEY.
Bob is a landscape artist inspired by the more remote parts of the British Isles using, sometimes, quite unconventional methods to achieve the desired effect. He had no formal training and just sketched occasionally when time permitted before eventually signing up for a course. His work and skills progressed and over the years he has exhibited in the North, the Midlands, the West Country and in Scotland and Wales.
In 2000 Bob and his wife moved from the North Pennines to Lincolnshire where he has now exhibited many times, as well as undertaking painting projects for the National Trust at Gunby Hall and for the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
