LOUTH PLAYGOERS
SENIOR SUMMER WORKSHOP
Looking for an unforgettable way to spend your summer? Join us for our annual Summer Workshop, one of our longest-running and most loved traditions for young people!
The workshop is open to anyone ages 15-25 and costs £120 for the two weeks. However, this year if you book before Easter, then we are giving you £20 off your place.
Over two action-packed weeks, you’ll work with a professional creative team to audition, rehearse and bring a full musical to life. From your first rehearsal to the final curtain call, you will develop your skills, make new friends and become part of something truly special.
The experience culminates in three live performances, complete with a full band, set, costumes and props. It’s your chance to take centre stage, challenge yourself, build confidence and create memories that will stay with you long after the summer ends.
But don’t just take our word for it….
“I still look back on the ones I took part in as a teenager so so fondly”
Nikki Wheeldon (West End Performer)
“16 years ago I did my first workshop and however many followed after that, 3 or 4 I think! Fame was the first though, it feels appropriate given where I ended up! However, my all time favourite was My Favorite Year (the irony), ridiculous comedy mixed in with some pretty serious moments! I found a song in that show that I would audition with for YEARS after! Don’t ever stop opening the door to theatre for young people! Who knows where it leads!“
Ashley Standland (LSMT)
“I can honestly say they were some of my most memorable and favourite weeks as a teen, I absolutely adored doing the workshops, it was always the best experience and I still feel super grateful for those times with you all!”
Laura Harris (LPS President Elect)
“As I’d say to anyone who considers taking part, the workshop holds a very special place in my heart and I’ve been fortunate enough to have such brilliant and diverse roles over the years that have taught me so much about myself and helped me grow as a performer, and to get to work with brilliant, successful and kind creatives.“
Bella Morgan (Rose Bruford College)
“Workshop is hands down the best 2 weeks of my year“
Kacey Lowe (PPA)
