TREVOR BOUNFORD
The featured artist for December is TREVOR BOUNFORD and his exhibition RIVERHEAD TO HUMBER
Trevor is an artist, illustrator and author now based in Louth. His art has been exhibited in the Royal Academy and at the Mall Galleries in London, and in a number of regional galleries.
“I was delighted to have been invited to exhibit at the Riverhead Theatre Gallery, and the idea of views along the Louth Navigation as a theme quickly presented itself. I had already made sketches at the Riverhead and at Alvingham and knew there would be ample opportunity for other interesting subjects…and as the work progressed I became aware of the fascinating history of the canal. The views were compiled over a twelve month period so different seasons are portrayed.”
