STEVE CHAPMAN
The featured exhibitor for October at the Riverhead Gallery is STEVE CHAPMAN.
Steve is a Lincolnshire photographer. His journey in photography commenced some twenty years ago triggered by the sale of his professional business. He purchased a camera which prompted an avid interest in photography and a quest to capture moments in time to preserve for future development.
He was fortunate to form an association with the National Trust for whom he undertook “reportage” photography including visits by the Trust’s Director General to the Peak District. This led to the opportunity of arranging twelve exhibitions of his work at historic National Trust properties.
Steve has been active in various photographic clubs and has had competition successes as well as taking part in international competitions. He has also been active within the Lincolnshire Photographic Association as a competition judge.
