DIANA ESTELLE COPELAND
The featured artist for February is DIANA ESTELLE COPELAND.
Having retired from working with the UN, Estelle decided to take up painting. This led her to co-found Artworks* and to help run three art galleries in Bucks, before later moving to Lincolnshire.
She paints in acrylic on canvas board. Her pictures are inspired by the beautiful countryside surrounding Louth, especially the Wolds. The picturesque villages, winding lanes and woodlands have all been a delightful source to create her works of art. This has brought her in to contact with the charitable and community activities at the former Priory Hotel on Eastgate.
